In Maus Trap your objective is to help poor Peanut escape from the lab she is trapped in. It will be a journey fraught with danger and terror for our little mouse.
The rules for playing are simple and straightforward…move as quickly as you can without touching the walls or machinery that are set up as traps. Either of these can quickly injure or kill Peanut.
When you start out the first four levels are all unlocked…until you get a feel for how the game play and movement works it is a good idea to start with the first level.
Peanut will start off in the deepest part of the Breeding Labs…click on the chunk of cheese and drag it in the direction that you want Peanut to go. The quicker you drag the chunk of cheese the quicker Peanut will move, so be careful when in tight spots or she could be hard to guide through without injury! You can also monitor your Health Stats and Time Remaining along with accessing Game Controls on the right side of the screen.
Note: Moving Peanut over the Question Pads will provide helpful hints as you move through the lab.
On her way to escaping Level 1! Is that lots of yummy food ahead?

The Green Circle is your goal…once you help Peanut reach it you will be able to leave the level behind.
When you complete a level you will be presented with the score along with any bonuses that you have earned. The better you do the more hearts Peanut will display for you! Clicking on Next will return you to the level selection area where you may choose to replay a level or move forward to the next.
On to Level 2!
This is what the second level looks like. As you can see it is already more complicated than the first level! Now you have to work at avoiding sliding walls with teeth on the end and laser barriers on top of avoiding the walls. You will also continue to find food along the way for Peanut to eat combined with new items to help you on your way such as Power-ups, Health, and Temporary Invincibility. Good luck on your quest to escape the lab!
Update: The site we originally found the game at became red-listed by Google the day after we wrote up the game. We ourselves have not encountered any problems with the originally listed site, but for everyone’s peace of mind and as a precaution we have provided a new link to a different website hosting the game.
